Cactus

We all know " The spiritual types the Natural, and the natural can type the Spiritual. for example. CACTUS My daughter Jama has a hugh area just for Cactus. They are all sizes, shape.each one has sticking things all over each one and when they get taller larger their sticking things are like sharp needles.They are not attractive, nothing to say wow. or how beautiful, until they start to bloom, Jama's Cactus garden has yellow blooms. the tall ones the blooms are hugh, smaller ones they are very pretty but not as noticeable. I go by and stand by this awesome, beautiful, attractive Cactus garden and God reminds me of when He said we and me before we except Jesus as our Personal Saviour is like the Cactus before they take on their beauty,We are ugly, nasty,hold grudges,This all has to do with the Old man, the Old nature, Our flesh, The Old Heart. These Cactus did not become beautiful over night it took time, It took the weather,the rain the sun and so on same as us when we except Jesus it is a daily love affair with Jesus, prayer, fasting, giving, and taking, Well it is beautiful I am still working on my Spiritual Cactus Garden, because even tho. they are pretty they still have (STICKERS) I will close on this will add more later,

Japan Trip 7 Coming Home

We left for home 24 of April. Our flight left at 8;25 but we had to take a bus to JAL airlines. Then 3 hours on JAL to air port in Tokyo where we take Delta home. 13 hours. When we got to Narita Airport JAL plane.passenger terminal 2; we are to get to Delta Airlines Narita Airport North Wing Passenger terminal 1. we get off the JAL Plane and was told we had to take a Limousine to Narita Bus stop no 7 adults $30.00 children $15.00 duration 75 minute. So we do all this we had ALL our suit cases with us had to get them off JAL but when we got to Narita they told us to get off at the wrong stop. Here we are all again no help this standing on a side walk in Tokyo 2 small children Jama and I put the luggage on 3 carts I push one she did one and little Elijah push one just like a little man. I have a picture of him all you see is his eyes on up. We walk a good 2 miles then was told to take a shuttle this was free. No help this took us to Delta but we had to put our 4 large suit cases under the plane then was told go to 4 floor. We did I was so glad to see a Delta sign. When we got on they told me a wheel chair would be there for me. I gave them a Evidence book as before and when we landed in Atlanta. (thank the Lord) they all came by greeted us so nice about that time some one said to me take the escalator up stairs to get your wheel chair. Why did they not say elevator. Jama and I was surprised another venture. For us so we took the elevator up stairs it was a large deary place only one person in sight way down the hall. Jama took the kids to the bath room and I slowly walk down the long path. The man sitting there was waiting on his wife. A lady came by the uniform she was wearing was air port clothes. see if she saw or could send me a chair she said o.k. But nothing happened 30 minutes or so later one of the Captains came by was surprise to see us there. He said he would send a wheel chair my way and 10 minutes it was there. But she could only take me a little ways. I had given her $10.00 and more if she had taken us all the way. She gave me to some one else and that person could only take us a little way. To a supervisor over Deltas wheel chairs. I told him what happened any way finally he gave me to a lady very nice took us all the way I gave her $ 10.00. you sure need dollars at our air port. We finally made it to baggage claims. A long journey.It is a good thing Jama and are tough. And our little ones are also. Okinawa is a beautiful Island Titus took us sight seeing it was awesome.The last night he grilled pork chops for us. And all the trimmings. When I go to Okinawa again I will not take JAL.there has to be a better way. Now the A.N.A. Air planes were huge, clean, nice. The time change did not bother me, I am so thankful I can still travel far and wide.Love and Prayers

Japan Trip 6 The Sights

After John Tyler was born we only had 5 days to sight see but we did good. The dining room at the hotel liked me a lot 2 days before we left it was just before serving dinner in the Dinning room they ask me if I needed something to eat, they were cleaning for dinner, they sat me in corner and fix me a large cheese burger and a slice fruit cheese cake. It was scrumptious Peaches and Jama took them to the beach the big one I did not go to this one but the small area I did.We were waiting in the car for Peach to get us our passes for the other bases. An older gentleman was looking fervently for something in his car. I got out of the car and ask if I could help him, he was so happy I asked. He could not find his cell phone. I looked front and back, Peaches came out and said call your no. and see if it rings in the car we know it is here. He said, “I do not know my no.” so Peach gave him her cell to call his wife and he had left it at home. Bless his heart he turned around and fell over a rock. Down he went. He was o.k. His name is Terry. Later that day we saw him walking toward a bldg we all called out hi Terry. he smiled. Peaches and Titus took us to BX. And the commissary-. and let me inter ate here I took mostly Travelers Checks. This was a no no. credit card or cash from now on.. You are not to tip in Japan.I will tell you of our experience coming home. Nothing to do with the planes all the Captains first officers. And all Air Line stewardess were excellent it was when we got off the plane and no wheel chair for me.Titus and Peaches has a nice home 3 bed rooms nice yard and they have a chocolate color Poodle. He sure loves Peaches. All her neighbors are in the same position they are in. there for a season.I met some beautiful families.The last day Peaches took us to a Yen store.Dollar stores here, my it was massive.Almost the size of our wal Marts. They only took Yen money, so Peaches and I went to a bank to get Jama and me some Yens. Jama waited for us at the store. She still had not covered the whole store. They had some beautiful hangers covered with beads. Jama got me 12. she said : “This is you mom” O and different colors.I want to tell you all what they called the place I got my facial and massage.”Yukurn Relaxation Menu” Suki told them what I wanted.

Japan Trip 5 The Sights

Peaches came home the next day I thought she would rest no way Jama said. We must go sight seeing and shopping and this we did. Titus and Peaches were wonderful host and hostess. I had a pool at the hotel they came 4 times to swim. The kids did we sat , watch and visited. Very relaxing. Peaches got passes for us so we could go on all the basses there. They have Kadena air force base, Foster Marine Camp. Camp Shield which is Navy. They are Americanize. You would never have to leave the bases they have every thing for families. Very well equipped. Titus took us twice to a restaurant on Kedena where they live you have to belong to nco club to get to Rockers Restaurant they had great American food. First time we went they had yellow table cloths with all the trimming next time they were red. I like this. First day we went to Starbucks, the next time to McDonald's. Even a A.W. But what was nice we went to Kentucky fried chicken they called theirs Colonial Sanders. Had a nice stature of him in front with his cane. Well while there a gentleman kept watching us I knew he was from American so I go over and introduce myself he has lived there 40 years. Has a business.there he wanted his pictures taken with all of us.I was told about the Miracle Mile St. Peaches found it any one that has been there knows Kokusai St. is to Naha as Broadway is to New York. It was very interesting. They took us to the Pineapple Park now this an experience. They put us in a 8 seated golf cart place me behind the wheel. I said : O my” but it did its own thing. They had speakers and it took us to acres of Pine apple things. Beautiful. hard to explain. They had wine testing.area Sea shell gallery area. They had Pineapples fields. Fern Forest ,areas. There were Tropical Green House areas.all this we saw while on the cart but when we got off we walked and walked.

Japan Trip 4 The Baby

Peaches had got me my coffee cream, not what I use here but close, some grapes, I only had one station that was in English, A.B.C. But I did not come there to watch t.v. I called down stairs to get some hangers. They gave me to a English speaking person. The next morning I needed help with my air I called back. This is 309. Suki came up I met her we hit off fantastic. She was my buddy with 2 others. Lady in the gift shop we talk first morning she loved pigs, as you all know they are my favorite so when I left to come back home Suki had me 3 gifts ( Pigs) the man in charge of the front gave me a gift they all hated to see me go So now I have some new friends. I have invited them to my home.
The kids came over pick me up so I could see Peaches home on Kedena Base. Because at 7 the next morning we took her to the Navy hospital to have us a baby. We met her doctor that day so we spent time getting prepared for this great event. We got at the Navy hospital 7 a.m. We left at 4 p.m. The next day. Me and 4 of my grand children well 2 were great grand children were in a small room no windows small t.v. On the wall 2 leather couches. No pillows. Sydney let me use her blanket for a pillow.2 days and a night. We left the room twice to go to cafeteria, and to visit Peaches. This was our home. We thought we would be there a few hours. Well this is why we traveled over ten thousands mile for. One way I am thankful Jama brought games ct for the little ones even me I worked pages of -word-puzzles she had all kinds of goodies. When I got back to my hotel room wow!! my right side of my neck was swollen and hurt, this gave me excuse to get a facial and massage. It did help. My first massage ever they did a good job. Peaches gave us a beautiful 8 lbs.9oz.boy brown eyes. At 2 hours old he looked like he was 10 days old. Peaches said”grandma you deserve a gold medal staying in a wee room with the children.. Jama took pictures of one time she came in Sarah was laying on my stomach the next time Sydney was.

Japan Trip 3 The Airport

Now this experience I had was my first. The Japanese people were courtesy. Kind, pleasant, They took real good care of me. I did use the wheel chair some, over there we had to take buses and shuttles to get to our plane to go to Okinawa. We did not know this. We are on A.N.A. Airlines. To get to Okinawa. You know they even strap me in my chair. I put my foot on the floor my this was a no no they bent down put my foot back. we will take of you. And they did. We waited and waited buses coming and going. Not many spoke English, I ask does one take us to our plane? They said (truck.) I ask Jama did they say truck? This was unbelievable how they got us to
our plane. All of a sudden a truck with a lift backed in a space the man smiled and motions for Jama to follow. They placed us on a lift back of the truck and lifted us into the truck. Drove us to our plane and when we saw the plane I am wondering how are we going to get on. The man said We go under the wing. We did, a large door opened up and there was the inside of the plane. They escorted me out and 2 beautiful ladies were there to take care of us. They even gave us first class. My experience with the people in air line business in Japan has much better service. They will not take tips. They have us beat many times over with caring and doing. We made it to Okinawa. We had 12 suitcases. Couple was for the baby. I had reserved a room at a nice hotel in Okinawa. Jama stayed on base with the children. My room was beautiful. It over looked the ocean. It was Tokyo Dai Ichi. I slept 10 hours got up the next morning rested. We got in at 8 that night.
